Those fears can be quelled now, though, as we've just recently learned that Atari will be picking up the publishing rights from the now-dead-and-gone Sierra, and will be positioning the game as a summer release in 2009 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the original film's release. And while those same gamers are probably anticipating the title largely because of the classic comedy stylings of Ramis, Murray and Aykroyd, they still got quite a scare earlier this year - in the wake of the Activision/Blizzard merger, the game seemed to be threatened with cancellation for a time. This highly-anticipated reboot of the '80s film franchise has kept a prominent place in many gamers' sights since its announcement late last year.
